The UMS radial engine with 160ccm and 7 cylinders is a high-quality petrol engine for RC aircraft models with high demands.
The manufacturer UMS offers a unique range of radial engines.
The engines are characterized by a robust and elaborate construction, they are made for those scale model lovers who want to give their model a unique character, and thus stand out from others. UMS has developed a series of five petrol engines and three glow ignition engines each, covering the full range of types required. Above all, the small volume engines make it possible to also motorize comparatively smaller scale models, especially warbirds, true to the original.
The petrol engines have an electronic ignition system which is operated with a LiPo battery, as fuel petrol/oil mixture is used. To run in please mix 30:1, for later operation 40:1 Super petrol 95/2-stroke oil (Fuchs Titan 100S or similar) mixture. The glow igniter engines are pre-annealed with an external battery, as fuel commercially available model construction fuel on methanol basis is used. All engines are delivered with silencers.
