The model is built entirely of wood.To achieve this, all parts were laser-cut precisely and fit together very precisely. Luxx is aimed at model makers who want to experience real model building again, but do not want to wait for weeks. Due to the simple construction with box fuselage, a construction time of only a few evenings is to be planned until the model is ready to take off covered.
The wings have been developed with a modified profile that guarantees uncritical flight characteristics as well as the possibility to fly a little faster. Even thermal sailing is possible with Luxx to a simple extent.
The construction is completely in ribbed construction and is carried out using the proven aero-naut Helling. Due to the precise degree of prefabrication, the complete surface can be assembled in approx. 1-2 hours.
The removable canopy gives access to the engine and battery without having to remove the wing to change the battery.
Simple motors in the 150W power class with a 2-3s LiPo are suitable as drive, which enables very good climbing performance and faster flights.
The model is ideal for promoting youth in clubs, schools and associations.Thanks to the step-by-step instructions and the wide range of prefabricated parts, joint construction progress is easy to achieve, even with different craftsmanship skills.
The following additional parts are required to complete the model: covering foil, electric motor, folding propeller and spinner, battery, RC components.
