Quido is a kit of a small electric flight model that fits in every boot. The individual parts are largely prefabricated from balsa and must be assembled according to the enclosed assembly instructions.
The rear fuselage part consists of a single carbon fiber tube, which provides for a light construction of the entire model.
The tail unit is firmly glued to the fuselage and cannot be removed, which is not necessary with the compact size. The wing is built in one piece and attached to the fuselage with rubber rings. This ensures quick and easy assembly during flight preparation and, in the event of a rough landing, the surfaces on the fuselage are shifted or detached from the fuselage without damage. The wings and tail units are covered with iron-on film, which the model maker applies at his own discretion and taste. Quido is suitable for model makers who have already made first experiences with a wooden kit of our free flight models (e.g. Lilienthal 31 / 32) and is an optimal entry into RC model flying. The model kit contains all the wooden parts needed to build the fuselage and wings, a carbon fibre tube for the rear fuselage part, links and small parts as well as detailed assembly instructions. Suitable drives are external rotor motors with rear mounting and an output of 100-150 watts at 2s Lipo.
