Almost finished practice jet aircraft with a wingspan of 1200mm made from resistant EPO foam in "Hotliner" style. Powered by a 64mm impeller. Suitable for experienced pilots. Comes equipped with a brushless motor, controller, and 4 servos. Controllable ailerons, vertical stabilizer, and floating horizontal stabilizer.
The Swift 1200, made from nearly unbreakable extruded polyolefin foam (EPO), is a joy for anyone looking to start flying a model powered by an impeller but is hesitant to fly a jet with a very small wing area – or it is perfect for those who simply want to fly with another model.
The 64mm impeller is powered by a brushless motor, and the model is reinforced with carbon strips and supports. Thanks to this, the Swift 1200 should provide a large dose of adrenaline for a foam model, but it won't intimidate the pilot who is just starting with jets. Furthermore, the model retains the main advantage of EPO models – it is easy to repair and, due to the detachable two-part wing and horizontal stabilizer, is very space-saving, making it easy to pack for a vacation.
The sleek fuselage made of EPO foam with glued composite reinforcements comes with a mounted 40A brushless controller and servos for the control surfaces. In the front part of the fuselage, there is a battery compartment under the removable canopy. For the Swift 1200, you will need LiPo 4-cell packs of 2200-3300 mAh with a discharge rate of at least 25C. The EPO horizontal stabilizer is removable for easy transport and storage. The wing features a fast profile made of EPO foam, reinforced with carbon supports, and is two-part, connected with a carbon connector. It is attached to the fuselage with two screws. Similarly, the pylon with a 64mm impeller and brushless motor TOP2830b-3850 is attached to the wing with two screws. The ailerons are controlled by two servos mounted in the wing. Before connecting the linkages, we recommend moving all control surfaces up and down, or left and right, through careful repeated tilting. The control surfaces include ailerons, vertical and horizontal stabilizers, and motor speed.
To control the model, you will need at least a 4-channel RC set. In this case, both aileron servos are connected to one channel via a Y-cable (not included in the kit). It is ideal to have at least a 5-channel RC computer set that allows independent control of the aileron servos.
The Swift 1200 is designed for intermediate modelers who already master the control of faster models with controllable ailerons. With large throws set, all experienced pilots will fly perfectly with the model when they do not require an overwhelming dose of adrenaline.
