The rock4K is the logical evolution of our well-proven rock_it. It is a performance all-round model designed for the ambitious recreational pilot, constructed from balsa and plywood. The camber flaps expand the range of applications towards either thermals or flight dynamics. With the model's base speed, a large area can be searched for lift on slopes and flat ground without losing much altitude. Once a thermal is found, altitude can quickly be gained in the "thermal position," which can then be used to perform various aerobatic figures. The butterfly position allows even less experienced pilots to achieve gentle landings.
The model is entirely built from wood, featuring a pine spar and plywood leading edge on the wings. The fuselage is a traditional box fuselage that has been given a double bottom to separate the cable routing from the fuselage installations. This nested framework inside significantly increases the stability of the fuselage in the front area.
The wings are divided into two parts and are designed to withstand releases from heights of up to 200 meters without any problems.
