The de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth is a single-engine biplane trainer aircraft that made its maiden flight in 1931. This aircraft was designed by Geoffrey de Havilland. The Tiger Moth was used as a training aircraft by the British Royal Air Force. Towards the end of its service life around 1950, many DH.82s were used civilianly. Many of these still fly at veterans' reunions today. The model was lovingly modeled after the original and has very good-natured flight characteristics. Our Tiger Moth was designed from the ground up for electric propulsion. The large cockpit, which can be removed upwards, allows for easy battery replacement and maintenance work. Due to its compact size, the assembled model can be transported in most cars without removing the wings.
