The Mü-13e (später Bergfalke I genannt) was designed and built in 1951, at a time when gliding was forbidden in post-war Germany. Egon Scheibe designed the aircraft on the basis of the pre-war construction Mü-13 of the Munich Academic Aviation Group.
The model with a Spannweite von 3,5 Metern offers model makers Holzbau- und Flugvergnügen in equal measure. The wingspan allows hervorragende Segelflugleistungen on the slope and in the plane (Hochstart, F-Schlepp)gut transportiert werden zu können. Der Rumpfaufbau erfolgt auf einer vorgestanzten Depronhelling, somit ist ein absolut genauer Zusammenbau gewährleistet.
