Lilienthal 31 is the joint further development in cooperation with the DMFV for youth work in clubs and work groups for schools. The Lilienthal 30 model, which has been manufactured by aero-naut until now, has been revised so that the construction time could be shortened again. A thermal brake and curve control were dispensed with in order to obtain a quick and uncomplicated set-up. The instructions contain information to upgrade the model with a subsequent curve control. The Lilienthal is made entirely of wood with a covering made of Japanese paper. The wing has a straight surface on the lower side so that no problems can arise during construction. All parts made of balsa wood, obeche and plywood are precisely cut with the laser. The leading edge and trailing edge are milled and cut to give the ribs the right place and support. The kit includes a detailed description of the construction with a construction stage drawing and a construction plan.

The name "Aeronaut", based from the Greek Symbol for air and water, was chosen for the company in the 1970's as they stepped into the RC industry. Aeronaut is well known for self-designed and manufactured products, for example, the CAMCarbon Folding Propeller.
