The RC model G 109 is an accurate replica (scale 1:6) of the two-seat fiberglass motor glider G 109 from Grob-Werke in Mindelheim/Bay. After an impressively short construction time of 21 weeks, the prototype of the new generation of motor gliders was presented ready to fly on March 14, 1980.
The excellent flight performance of the original aircraft has been transferred to the RC model, as well as its good takeoff and landing characteristics. The model is particularly suitable for the installation of 4-stroke engines up to approximately 7.5 cc displacement; however, electric motors with or without a gearbox can also be installed in the lightweight fiberglass fuselage.
All installations are easily accessible with the cabin hood removed, ensuring that the model leaves nothing to be desired regarding "maintenance work."
The model kit includes: a clear assembly plan with instructions and parts list, a fiberglass finished fuselage, ABS molded parts, a cabin hood, ready-covered Styrofoam wings with Abachi veneer, a steel tricycle landing gear, wheels, and all small parts for the RC installation such as control horns, clevises, hinges, and decals.
This kit is manufactured in its original version from the 1980s/1990s and is aimed at experienced model builders.

Over the past 30 years, the company
Aeronaut has been distributed from Modellbau Lindinger due to high quality products and services. The name "Aeronaut", based from the Greek Symbol for air and water, was chosen for the company in the 1970's as they stepped into the RC industry. Aeronaut is well known for self-designed and manufactured products, for example, the
CAMCarbon Folding Propeller.
