The Ranger V2 from FMS is a trainer model with a wingspan of 122 cm. The model is constructed from ultra-light EPO hard foam material and offers exceptional lift at extremely low wing loading, even at slow speeds. Robust plastic struts provide additional strength to the wings during aerobatic maneuvers, and the high-strength tricycle landing gear makes handling on the ground a breeze.
Reliable DriveA great airplane naturally requires a great and, above all, reliable drive system. FMS has equipped the Ranger with a 1200KV outrunner paired with a Predator 20A controller, allowing the Ranger to go vertical on 3S if needed.
Quick AssemblyOnly 6 (landing gear) or 10 (floats) screws are needed for the complete assembly of the model. The model can be assembled faster than the battery can be charged.
Including FMS Reflex V3 Stabilization SystemThis model includes a specially programmed FMS Reflex system designed for this aircraft. This electronic stabilization system is designed to assist the pilot with control commands without interfering. The Reflex system works with both PPM and SBUS inputs and is compatible with all common remote control systems. When the Reflex system is assigned to a 3-channel switch, three different modes can be selected:
- Stabilized Mode: When the control sticks are released, the model automatically returns to a neutral flight position, providing significant security for beginners and inexperienced pilots in critical situations.
- Optimized Mode: The gyro system of the Reflex system counteracts external influences like gusts of wind or crosswinds, keeping the model precisely stable.
- Off: The Reflex system can be completely turned off.
The FMS Reflex system is specifically tuned for this model. No additional programming is required. The FMS Reflex system can be bound with all receivers that have at least 4 channels.
