The prototypical model of the Do 24K seaplane. The three-engine original was built in Germany and licensed by Aviolande in the Netherlands. This flying boat was used by the Dutch Navy before and during the Second World War and in Dutch India.
Our model was built using the original plans and instructions from Bart, so there? the model is very nicely detailed and yet very light. All parts are made of laser-cut poplar plywood and balsa, making for a robust and easy to build model.
Since the hull is built as two vertically divided half shells, the model remains straight during construction and the construction is simplified.
