The Dragonfly V3 is designed for takeoff and landing on water. The underside of the fuselage features a special glide step, and the wing tips are designed as support floats. Alternatively, the model can take off from the hand or a smooth grassy area. Particularly interesting in winter is its use on snow.
The model is built with a lightweight, foam construction. The multi-colored decoration is already applied to the fuselage, wings, and tailplane. The brushless direct drive is powered by a 3s LiPo battery, giving the model a powerful flight profile with high speed. The motor is controlled by a brushless ESC. The removable canopy allows for a quick swap of the drive battery.
The ailerons are controlled by separate wing servos. The elevator and rudder are controlled by micro servos, which are already installed in the fuselage. The ESC and brushless motor are also pre-installed in the model, ready to fly. All control surfaces are designed as gap-free Elastoflaps, providing maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
Even on the ground, the elegant Dragonfly V3 impresses with its jet-like appearance, attracting curious looks from pilots and spectators. After a short glide distance on the water, the Dragonfly V3 is in its element. Low, high-speed passes highlight the sporty character of the model. At the same time, the Dragonfly V3 impresses with pleasant slow flight characteristics and non-critical stall behavior.
