The manned original Blériot XI was a single-seat aircraft designed by aviation pioneer Louis Blériot from France and was built approximately 800 times. The fuselage was constructed using an ash wood frame tensioned with steel wires, and the wings were also made of wood/rib construction and covered with fabric. The main landing gear consisted of large bicycle wheels. In the model implementation, great care was taken to achieve a faithful appearance and excellent flying characteristics. Beautiful scale details perfectly round off the overall picture of this fantastic model aircraft.
