Particular emphasis was placed on detail fidelity in the development of this Piper L4 Grasshopper. The result is a beautiful Piper L4 that impresses with its excellent flight characteristics. The model is perfect for electric propulsion, but it can also be fitted with a combustion engine of approximately 7.5 - 11.0 cc displacement. The Piper L4 Grasshopper features many innovative characteristics. On the side of the fuselage, there is a large double-opening (magnetic) door design for easy access (e.g., battery replacement). The standard landing gear is modeled after the original. If the model is to be flown on unpaved runways, larger wheels can be mounted at any time. The model is also very suitable for water flying or winter flying on snow. Suitable floats can be found in our range.
