The RPM rear bumper mount for the Traxxas XRT is more durable, replacing a commonly broken stock part. How did we make it stronger? We started by significantly increasing the height of the mount. The height was raised to ¾ inch (19 mm)! Then, we increased the thickness to 0.2 inches (5.08 mm). Our final strength improvement comes from the triple-loop design. Each side has three curves: two small ones and one large one. The large curve absorbs smaller impacts, while the smaller curves compress once the large curve can no longer compress. This results in three compression zones per side for maximum impact resistance. Interestingly, our unique blend of technical nylons has a property called "memory." Once impact energy is absorbed, its memory returns our rear bumper mount to its original shape. Once the impact force is gone, the deformation reverts almost instantly. What does this mean? It means you get back your impact resistance quickly after the first hit, offering improved protection for your truck during heavy crashes with multiple impacts in succession (rollovers).
