The TAMIYA TT-02B chassis is a variant of the innovative TT-02 on-road 4WD chassis. This version has a pre-painted body in gun metal (PS-23).
The Plasma Edge is the second model with this chassis configuration. Thanks to its simple design and maintenance-friendly solutions, the chassis is also suitable for beginners. The battery placed longitudinally in the hull frame chassis and the deep-seated RC components ensure a low centre of gravity. Independent suspension and double wishbones, oil-pressure shock absorbers, four-wheel drive and the high-grip studded tyres provide excellent traction. Front and rear axles are fitted with sealed bevel gear differentials. The electric motor Type 540 RS Torque Tuned ensures plenty of power off-road. With optional tuning parts, the chassis can be quickly tuned into a race buggy. The underside of the chassis is extra smooth and the battery compartment accommodates all common types of batteries. The robust polycarbonate body withstands the tough off-road conditions and is very light.
