Tamiya presents the latest XV-01 chassis - with the Subaru Impreza! Tamiya presents the latest XV-01 chassis - with the Subaru Impreza! The first RC model on the XV-01 chassis is the Subara Impreza WRX Sti, which was launched in 2011 by Team Subara Arai. Led by Toshihiro Arai, winner of the 2005 and 2007 championships, the Production Car World Rally Championship (PWRC) season, the team took the Impreza into the 2011 Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) series. The team also drove at the Hokkaido Rally in the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) in 2011, where the car impressively drove to victory.
