The Nakajima Ki-49 was an aircraft used by Japan as a bomber in World War II, developed to replace the Mitsubishi Ki-21 bombers. The Allied code name was "Helen".
A total of 819 aircraft were built. Later in the war, the Ki-49 was mostly used only as a troop transport, for anti-submarine warfare or for kamikaze missions.
