With a weight of only 3.7 g and micro dimensions, the GYD450 Car Drift gyro fits cars of various sizes. It serves to stabilize perfect drifts with controlled drift angles, either in AVCS or Normal mode.
By using the latest MEMS sensor technology, a micro size of only 20.5 x 20.5 x 11 mm is achieved.
All necessary settings can be made via switch or controller on the gyro itself, no PC and setting software required. The gyro effect can be adjusted via a separate channel from the transmitter.
Note: Only for FUTABA digital servos
Can also be operated in SR mode, together with the T7PX transmitter and SR-compatible steering servos.
Both connection sides are pluggable and can be easily adapted to model conditions by means of different patch cables (plug/plug) of different lengths.
Normal gyro mode:
In this mode the GYD450 works like a normal gyro: In case of an angle change, the position is corrected via the steering servo. This mode is ideal for all non-drifting RC cars.
AVCS mode (Active Angular Velocity Control System):
The AVCS mode was specially developed for drift cars in order to perform wild drifts for as long as possible in different speed ranges. For this purpose, the GYD450 is equipped with Heading Hold technology to provide the driver with the best possible support when drifting.
