The PowerBox PIK connector range combines tried and tested connector systems from the modelling sector with modern hot-melt technology.
The cables are soldered in our factory and then checked by a second employee for correct polarity and perfect workmanship. The cable is then placed in a specially made injection mould and welded with a special plastic at 220°C and 10bar pressure.
This process permanently seals and relieves the strain on the soldered joints. Neither mechanical stress nor environmental influences such as moisture or heat can negatively affect this connection. The plastic is resistant to vibration, oxidation, oils, acids, alkalis and fuels, and is also temperature-resistant from -30°C to +90°C.
