The ACCU based night flight blades are the simplest method to illuminate large models indirectly. Based on the normal LARGE and XLARGE systems, a central battery holder is provided on each Light-Blade to accommodate a small, weight-optimized LiPo battery. This is simply snapped in and held in place with mounting rings - the system is active. The LARGE system can only be used with a full battery for a flight of 8-10 minutes. The delicate but very robust CFRP tube construction provides enormous light output at low weight without strongly influencing the flight characteristics.
Compared to the wired systems, the light output of the lightweight battery systems is slightly lower, but the system is immediately ready for operation and no cables or soldering work on the surface is required. When delivered, the tubes and plates are only pre-assembled and can still be shortened and aligned on the model. This ensures optimum illumination. Only then are the arms finally fixed with a few drops of epoxy. An asymmetrical mounting is also possible (short arm near the floor).

Installation and operation
First of all, the supplied mounting plate can be glued firmly into the wing tips, preferably with good epoxy and pins.
Connection cables are not required.
With the L and XL systems, the light panels must be aligned once on the model during initial assembly and fixed with a little epoxy.
Then reflector surfaces are bent once so that the largest possible part of the light emission is directed onto the model. ATTENTION: the reflector surfaces harden and can only be bent a few times. Fix the glued surface before you align the surfaces by hand or a small pair of pliers to prevent the glued area from breaking open.
After the flight the Night-Blades can easily be unscrewed and transported. No trace of the night flight system remains.
