White variant: For use, e. g. as position light/taillight or as a collision warning light (strobe) in the surface tips.
Green variant: For use, e. g. as position light in the plane tip on the starboard side (right).
Red variant: For use, for example, as a position light in the plane tip on the port side (left) or as a collision warning light (beacon) on the tailplane or fuselage.

The light module can be connected directly to an SLC output (Smart Light Channel) of the Light Driver 5.0 lighting control system (see Accessories). No soldering work and no series resistors are necessary.

Intelligent lighting control
Plug & Play type recognition: The light module is automatically detected by the Light Driver 5.0 lighting control system. The lighting control regulates the luminosity and thus the heat generation according to the thermal properties of the module housing.
Max. Light Tracking (MLT): The light module can optionally be operated with full light output. An integrated heat sensor enables the Light Driver 5.0 lighting control system to automatically regulate the light output at high heat generation.

compatibility

The light module can also be used in conjunction with the Optotronix light control modules. For this purpose, a 3.9 Ohm resistor (3R9) must be soldered into the positive or negative lead for the green or white variant and a 10 Ohm resistor (10R) for the red variant.
