Description
The new FUTABA S-U301 is an inexpensive S.BUS2 universal servo. Technically, it is the HV version of the S-U300 servo. With almost 4 kgcm actuating force and an actuating speed of 0.16 s it is predestined for simple applications in RC cars, boats and model aircraft. The S-U301 replaces the previous servo types S3001, S3151 and S3073HV.
Programmable through S.BUS2 technology. Of course, all S.BUS2 servos can be connected to conventional receivers with PWM modulation. The servos can be addressed in different ways:
1. with the handy SBC-1 programmer 2. on the PC with the CIU-3 USB adapter 3. on the S.BUS connector of the transmitter
The following parameters can be set:
- S.BUS channel assignment
- Servo reverse polarity
- Servo type (normal / retractable landing gear)
- Soft start (On / Off)
- Mode selection on loss of signal Hold or Free
- Soft servo run (on / off)
- Servo position (servo tester)
- Servo center adjustment +/- 300 µs (approx. 30 degrees)
- Servo speed, 0.39 - 9 seconds per 45 degrees
- Setting the deadband
- Servo travel adjustment left and right separately, approx. 50 - 175%
- Starting force
