The DUPLEX 2.4EX Sensor MRPM-AC is exclusively used for measuring the speed of brushless DC motors (BLDC). It is connected to any two motor phases and calculates the current speed from the electrical pattern on the phases. With the MRPM-AC sensor, the current speeds as well as the historical progression of the propeller power (minimum, maximum) can be monitored. The sensor can also alert the user when set parameters are exceeded.
Since the sensor is connected to the motor excitation, the user must set the number of motor poles or the gear ratio in the sensor to ensure proper operation. The sensor's information is transmitted to the user via the Duplex system and can be accessed using the JetiBox.
