The TopFuel LiFe cells are built in a flat, LiPo-like design and thus fit ideally into almost any existing battery slot.
The main difference to LiPo and LiIon batteries is the lower voltage range of 3.3 volts to a maximum of 3.6 volts per cell. LiFe batteries are much less sensitive to under- and overvoltage. They are characterized by a very constant and flat discharge curve as well as a very high cycle stability.
The battery is ready soldered with the XT60 connector system.
Connectors
XT60 connector with gold contacts, suitable for up to 60 amps continuous load
XH balancer connector
Internal chip for battery telemetry
The passive MTAG chip stores battery data such as type, cell count, capacity, C-rate or battery ID. If required*, these values can be read out with an external NFC sensor such as the HACKER or JETI MTAG and transferred to the transmitter telemetry.
Likewise, the built-in MTAG chip offers the possibility to count and store the charging cycles manually or automatically. When using several identical batteries in serial or parallel operation, this enables more effective active battery management.
*Note: It is up to the user whether to use the MTAG function or not. The TopFuel battery can be used without MTAG like any ordinary battery.
