DPSI 2018 battery switch Duplex Edition
Dual power supply and receiver switch with which both bus servos and conventional standard servos can be operated.
Cabling
With the bus system, several servos can be connected to the dual power supply DPSI 2018 Duplex Edition via only one bus cable. For example, only one cable needs to be laid in the fuselage to the stern and one cable each in the surfaces.
The servos can then be connected via special servo ports to the bus cable where they are needed.
telemetry function
The following data can be transmitted to the transmitter via the telemetry function:
- Voltage of the two connected receiver batteries
- Current per battery and total current in the dual power supply
- Current output voltages of the three outputs "A", "B" and "C
- Receiver quality of both receivers in percent
- Temperature of the heat sink of the DPSI 2018 Duplex Edition
- Withdrawn capacity per battery and in total from both batteries
- Available remaining capacity from both receiver batteries
In addition to the telemetry data, errors in the receiving system are also transmitted (e.g. undervoltage, cable break, receiver error, etc.). The user can program limit values in the transmitter himself and assign an individual voice output if they are exceeded or not reached.
receiver switch
Two receivers can be connected for receiver redundancy. The DPSI 2018 Jeti Edition has an automatic switchover that selects the receiver with the better signal strength.
bus and standard servos
Both bus and conventional standard servos can be operated with the DPSI 2018. The servos are connected via ServoPorts, which are connected to the DPSI 2018 Duplex Edition or connected to special bus cables.
Equipment and load capacity
The DPSI 2018 Duplex Edition offers four bus outputs, which are combined in pairs. Each output pair has its own voltage regulation, which can be set between 5.4V, 6.0V, 6.6V or 7.4V.
The dual power supply can be loaded with up to 44 amps continuous current and briefly with up to 130 amps peak current.
In addition to the bus outputs, ten additional connections for standard servos are also available.
flight data memory
The DPSI 2018 Duplex Edition is equipped with an SD card slot. The most important flight data such as current, voltage or battery capacity can be displayed via the optional LCD box or stored on the SD card.
