Main Switch 100
The main switch is an electronic switch and is designed to switch the main power supply in an RC model. This provides a great safety advantage when handling the model without the need to physically separate the model's batteries from the drive. The main switch also prevents the formation of the familiar plug-in sparks that would otherwise result from the precharging of the controller capacitors. Special anti-flash circuits or plugs are not required.
The main switch is supplied with the familiar magnetic switch actuator, which can be exchanged for the optionally available RS switch. The RC switch can be operated wirelessly with the JETI Duplex transmitters. Although the main switch was primarily designed for use as a main switch in the RC model, it can also be used for many other applications for switching a power supply.
The main switch measures the voltage and current flowing from the drive battery and can therefore transmit these values and the used battery capacity to the JETI Duplex system via EX telemetry. In addition, the temperature of the main switch is measured and displayed. Alarms can be set for maximum capacity, current and temperature and minimum voltage
